With your financial support, we can continue to provide physiotherapy, podiatry, OT and other allied health services with our on the ground partners on Palm Island and in North East Arnhem Land. SOS Health Foundation does not receive government funding and relies entirely on our supporters to fund initiatives that sustainably and positively impact the health of individuals and communities who have little or no access to allied health services. We understand that when you support SOS Health Foundation, you’re entrusting us with the responsibility to make your money work where it can be most effective. Our promise is to ensure 100% of all supporter donations directly impact the health of Indigenous Australians in the communities we serve. Every dollar counts.

Workplace Giving

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace giving allows businesses and employees to invest in the community and build a reputation as a socially responsible business. It is a simple and effective way for employees to make regular donations through automated payroll deductions to SOS Health Foundation to fund various initiatives which are helping transform disadvantaged indigenous communities through supporting the work of SOS Health.

Good for You

Workplace Giving means instant tax benefits and most people report that they don’t miss the little bit that comes out of their pay. It’s a smarter, tax-effective way of giving and can build a sense of personal pride as you knowingly contribute to health improvements where they are needed the most – making a real and significant difference.

Good for Business

Workplace Giving helps to build a sense of community at work. Shared social values, a sense of community and a genuine desire to make a difference, are what many employees are looking for in their workplace.

Good for disadvantaged Australians

Small regular donations add up quickly. Partnering with 9 other people at your work, each contributing just $1 a day, would send a team of 2 allied health professionals on a 1 week Outreach Visit to NE Arnhem Land for each year of your support.

Good for SOS Health Foundation

Workplace Giving programs typically have much lower administration costs associated with them than other types of fundraising and a Workplace Giving Program can provide a solid, regular income stream for SOS Health Foundation.

Who can get involved in Workplace Giving?

Everyone can have the opportunity to contribute directly to SOS Health Foundation through regular pre-tax Workplace Giving with their employer taking the simple steps to set up the facility for workplace giving. Details of how to do this can be found here

What happens at tax time?

In a pre-tax Workplace Giving system you will have already received the tax benefit throughout the year for your donation. Find out more about this way of giving at the ATO website
