SOS Health are proud to announce the opening of our probono physiotherapy Melbourne clinic, in partnership with the Salvation Army Melbourne Project 614. We’re engaging with people from all walks of life as they come for a meal and access to a range of services which now include physiotherapy.
Our Urban Health Program is about more than treating individuals: it’s about building relationships, providing support, caring and reflecting our values…. that all people matter. It’s about improving the health of those living on the margins of society in our cities – through physiotherapy.
This was Tom’s experience as he eased himself in on his first day at the SOS Health Foundation Physiotherapy Clinic.
“Had a great first day with the Probono Physio Clinic up and running at Salvation Army Melbourne Project 614. Each Tuesday morning the clinic will be open to anyone in need of help and after chatting to the team working here we are going to be very busy which will be great.
The team do great work helping people that are homeless or at risk of homelessness, offering food at the Hamodava Café and support services throughout the city of Melbourne.”
