Running4Significance – Jason T Smith

Running a marathon to support life transforming Health initiatives

People run marathons for various reasons: for the competition, personal challenge, to push one’s physicality, a sense of achievement, bragging rights… or as some think, because they are just plain nuts.

Smith - Running4Significance

Whatever his personal reasons, Jason Smith, our Executive Director, has embarked on this journey of preparation and training (torture perhaps?) to run the Melbourne Marathon in October. We are proud that he will also be Running4Significance to support a cause close to his heart, transforming lives through Health. Not withstanding a few setbacks in training, Jason is well on his way “to getting there”. The SOS Health team is confident that he will get there  and we’re cheering him on all the way to the finish line.

You can read more about Jason’s Running4Significance journey to the Melbourne Marathon, send him encouraging tweet and get behind his effort.

Melbourne Marathon will be held on Sunday, 18 October 2015

It’s not too late to sign up to run or walk the Melbourne Marathon and perhaps support SOS Health Foundation just like Jason, by setting up your own supporter page on EveryDay Hero.
