What is work4significance ® Day?
work4significance ® Day is the SOS Health Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event hosted by participating physiotherapy practices nationally. Since the first work4significance® Day in 2009, funds raised have supported the provision of physiotherapy and related health services for those who can least afford them in urban and remote communities.
Tuesday, 6 September 2016
At participating physiotherapy practices nationally.
Where will the money go?
All funds raised will be used by SOS Health Foundation to provide probono physiotherapy services to support the homeless, those at risk of homelessness, and individuals and communities disadvantaged by poverty or remoteness:
Probono Physiotherapy Clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane
Remote Indigenous Programs
Allied Health services in remote communities in NE Arnhem Land and Palm Island, Nth Qld
Providing interventions, hands-on treatments and services to improve the health of Australia’s most disadvantaged people and communities who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the same health services and resources that most of us take for granted.
How can I be Significant?
On 6 September 2016, every hour — treatment for treatment, physios are giving physiotherapy to Australians who don’t have access to allied healthcare that most of us take for granted. Every hour a physio donates, two hands-on physio treatments will be provided for people who are homeless or living in remote communities.
For every hour you and your staff donate, two hands-on physio treatments will be provided for people who are homeless or living in remote communities. A whole day’s sales will make an enormous difference to so many. Register as a Practice.

Not in Allied Health?
Book a physio treatment, pilates session or any other of the many services offered and an equivalent service will be provided to a disadvantaged Australian. Or make an Online Donation to help those in need.
